Tuition & Insurance

Tuition

Holy Angels Academy offers a comprehensive, year-round clinical and academic program designed to provide consistent support and meaningful progress for every individual we serve. Unlike traditional private schools that operate on a nine-month calendar, our extended model ensures a more immersive and effective experience.

Tuition is set at an accessible rate of $7,000 per year. It covers essential services and enhancements that are not eligible for insurance billing, including specialized academic programming, vocational opportunities like our horticulture center, and the additional support staff required to support our interdisciplinary approach.

By keeping tuition significantly lower than many standard nine-month private schools, Holy Angels Academy remains committed to ensuring the highest quality of care that is both impactful and financially sustainable for families.

Insurance

Holy Angels Academy is currently credentialed with a wide range of providers to ensure our services are accessible to as many families as possible.

We aim to make the administrative side of care as seamless as the clinical side. Because we partner with Fundamental Therapy Solutions for Speech, Occupational, and Feeding therapies, our families benefit from an extensive network of both private and state-funded coverage.

We are currently in-network and credentialed with the following insurance providers:

  • Aetna Better Health

  • Aetna Commercial

  • Amerihealth Caritas

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana

  • Cigna

  • Healthy Blue of LA

  • LDH (Medicaid)

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We serve individuals ages 2–22 with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  For enrollment in The Academy or our after-school ABA program, students must have a prescription for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Families whose children do not have an autism diagnosis may still be considered for enrollment if an ABA prescription is obtained or if the family elects to pay privately for ABA services. Our team is happy to discuss this process and answer any questions you may have.

  • Holy Angels Academy is a tuition-based, year-round program that provides academic instruction alongside Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Tuition for the September–August school year is $7,000. We offer rolling admissions throughout the year, allowing students to enroll as openings become available. For families who enroll during the school year, tuition is structured as $583.33 per month. Our team is happy to discuss enrollment timing and answer any questions about the admissions process.

  • The average enrollment timeline at Holy Angels Academy is approximately four to six weeks. This timeframe largely depends on the insurance process, as several steps require insurance review and approval.

Our enrollment process includes three key stages: verification of insurance benefits, completion of a clinical assessment, and authorization of an individualized treatment plan. Once these steps have been completed and approval has been received, we are able to move forward with finalizing your child’s enrollment at the Academy.

  • To be placed on the waitlist for Holy Angels Academy, we require the following documentation: a completed enrollment packet, photocopies of the front and back of all insurance cards, and a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation that includes your child’s initial autism diagnosis.

To help expedite the enrollment process, we encourage families to bring these documents with them when attending a tour. Having this information available allows our team to begin the review process and move forward with next steps as efficiently as possible.

  • At Holy Angels Academy, we offer families two scheduling options to provide flexibility for daily arrival and dismissal. Parents may choose between an 8:00 AM drop-off with a 3:30 PM pick-up, or an 8:45 AM drop-off with a 3:45 PM pick-up. This structure allows families to select the schedule that best fits their child’s needs and their daily routine.
